Introduction to COC certification for exporting to South Sudan:

In order to protect domestic consumers in the Republic of South Sudan from public health, safety and environmental hazards caused by substandard products, the South Sudan National Bureau of Standards (SSNBS) requires that all exports to South Sudan be controlled from May 1, 2021. Products began to implement the pre-export product conformity assessment program PVoC (Pre-Export Verification to Conformity).

Official authorization of imported goods will help verify whether the imported products comply with relevant national standards and technical regulations of South Sudan. Only products that meet the requirements can be issued a Product Conformity Certificate CoC (Certificate of Conformity) for customs clearance of the goods at the local customs.

Goods imported into South Sudan comply with the technical regulations and applicable standards specified by the SSNBS to prevent the export of non-compliant goods to South Sudan.

Goods exported to South Sudan require a Certificate of Conformity (CoC)

CoC is a mandatory customs clearance document for every shipment of goods

The exporter shall bear any legal or economic consequences caused by the lack of corresponding CoC for the goods under the item.
