Any controlled product imported into Algeria must have a conformity document (quality certificate) issued by an authorized inspection and certification body. The document must prove that the goods comply with the country's technical regulations and standards.

As a qualified certification and inspection body, the agency can issue appropriate qualification documents called Certificate de Contrôle de Qualité des Marchandises to assist in customs clearance. This certificate of conformity must be issued in the exporting country.

Algeria’s quality certificates ensure that goods meet mandatory safety, quality and security requirements, enabling international trade, avoiding customs delays and reducing potential losses arising from the import of non-compliant products.

Algeria import tariffs,

Algeria applies customs tariffs to imported goods ranging from 0 to 30 percent, depending on the product type. Customs uses the CIF price (e.g., the price before tax) to calculate duties and taxes.
